Lets look at Gun control. 
They tell us they are looking to save lives.. 
Look at the above  information. The ratio of Guns isn't the issue!

So why not ban a concussion causing sport that leads to diminished mental capacity? Aka Football?

So why not ban sharp or blunt instruments? That's right Martha Stewart your salad spinner is in danger!

So why not ban cross bows? All hunting equipment.. Including fishing poles.. Those dang hooks can take an eye out.. 

So why not ban the use of fist? Martial arts? Wrestling?

All have caused the death of someone.
